Overview

Ten years in, still known as the small one.

Pier 9 had grown into one of the biggest events in the city, but its posters still looked like the first edition. Sponsors saw a local party, not a festival.

We redrew the identity around the harbour itself, then ran a campaign across the city, from tram stops to the lineup app.

Challenge

Be seen in a city full of posters.

Every summer, a dozen festivals fight for the same walls. The campaign had to work in two seconds, from a passing tram, in any weather.

A single word on every poster, and the harbour behind it.
